Great Overview! Turkish Get-Ups are the perfect Dry Land Training exercise. If you are learning in a spot with large chop/waves then I would suggest a board with 20 -30 L more then your Kg weight, you will appreciate the added stability then you can size down

I felt the same way about winging as you. Two months ago I was saying that winging is not for me at 3rd Ave, I started winging a month and a half ago and I have only kited once since.

Thanks for this. I have been considering winging, but it doesn't look like much fun compared to kitefoiling. Seeing that you like it and that you are coming from a kiting background is very helpful. Maybe I'll get a wing and try it with the foil I kite with.

Yup. I'm in the same boat. Just doesn't look that inspiring. But if Daniela and Sonny had the same thoughts, maybe it's time.

What a superbly articulated explanation on the transition into Wingfoiling! We are looking for brand ambassadors... hint hint 😀

Wow. Great video. But i totally disagree on the board volume sizes you recommend. Don't forget your already coming from a professional water sports background. I've been a kite Instructor for 15 years and I have started learning winging too. From my perspective you need to add at least minimum of 20 to 30 litres over your actual body weight. So 80kg rider board volume should be at least 100ltrs or even more. Bigger will help you progress much faster and aids in light wind practice and chop. Most importantly if the wind drops you can paddel in :)

Thanks for sharing! Keep ripping. Don't forget to mention how hard it is to learn how to ride switch stance on foil when you come back in.

It's not hard what are you on about - bend your back leg!
