I started using the bullet journaling process in my notebook at work about 10 years ago. I don’t do the “art journaling”, but use the original bullet journaling method. I am solo F54 & am about to hit the road in Aus with my dog after selling house, resigning from job and have been trying to determine how to record my travels. Thanks for showing how bullet journaling can be used on the road. I will be using your method. P.S. Bullet Journal have their own pre formatted books. My current book is one.

You've inspired me! I was in Officeworks yesterday and they had just marked down a heap of journals. $1.77 each! I stocked up. I'll have enough to last me a lifetime! I enjoy your channel. I'm working towards getting a campervan to travel around Australia with the hubby. It'll happen. A few hurdles to jump over first. Looking forward to your next vid! 😊

Awesome, I also have a lot of journals stored under the bed that will last me quite a few years. Love that you are going after your dreams.

OH Brenna, I am so glad to finally see your creative work!, I am lead to believe we may have been nieghbors at some point. as I am in MOTOWN, Born in Detroit, chuckles/whispers, 1962, I know you have been an Aussie for quite sometime if i recall the story. Then watching your van tour, and how important your art supplies are, got me geeked about my travels soon, as a massive crafter, I have more ephemra/journal/adhesives/paper/paints/ ALL of it, crammed into my tiny micro Ford Transit connect, tis ITTY BITTY< but ill just take less clothes, lol. Im inspired at your bullet journal style, and YOUR ARTWORK

Brenna! I've been driving to see a friend and stopped to get some water and met a lovely man who talked so much about how wonderful and influential of a youtuber you are to follow as a dog mum and artist. I was so happy to tell him I've been following you for a year now and that your videos were a big help to inspire me to buy my bus and get on the road with my dogs and art supplies! How cool is that!? 🥲😍

Love this! Your "blank pages" are brilliant. I've been keeping a separate journal for those kinds of random notes, but it would be so much better to keep them in the same book as the calendars, lists and accounts. I hadn't thought of it! Thank you so much for that idea. Love your videos!

Thanks Brenna for sharing. I have a pen drive that I use to record but I do not do it on a regular basis.😒 I do have a calander that I made up to record my monthy appointments and this looks like a dogs breakfast with scribbles and notes all over the page lol. I am a very tidy well organised person except for this .

That was pretty cool. I found it interesting how when we were discussing this sort of stuff ages ago when we camped together, that yours is all paper based, and mine is all digital. It’s interesting seeing how each of us do things in different ways. I’ve tried doing it the paper way because I love stationery and I REALLY want to use all the pretty stationery (LOL!), but I always revert back to digital.

I just use Google calendar on my computer and i-phone. I get an email or pop-up to remind me of yearly things, like birthdays, or single things like doctor's appointments. I use the Notes thingy on my phone to write down details or even scenes from my book that pop into my head when I'm not near my computer. I am repairing my old laptop so I can write whilst travelling in my minivan camper. I used to do everything on a clipboard, but single sheets are a pain to store, even in binders. The good thing about your little books is that blank page can hold illustrations of whatever you're writing about. :) Cheers. Jon in rural BC, Canada

I have been using a bullet journey for 5 years now. At first I tried to be arty. I have been using dot journals I got from Spotlight or K mart.(Australia). I have found it so good. I have a similar format to you. I am careful with the type of pen I use. I love the yearly and monthly over view. It is so helpful when working out a budget. And for just keeping track of what is happening in my life. So good. ❤🎉

Hi Brenna solovely to see you doing a video. I am a post-it note person, or a try and remember person…. Doesn’t work so well most of the time I become a “shoulda” person. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I think I will seriously give this bullet journal idea a serious go. Most van life people I watch are for their travels and for the vans or motor homes. However I get a lot more than that from you, sometimes you will talk about something and it’s how I have been feeling, or thinking of doing. You’re nearly up to 10k subscribers. Yay! 🩷🩷🩷

Wow that was interesting. I have never thought of keeping a journal like that. I live in a house with notes by the bed, couch, kitchen table, calendar on the wall and calendar on my ipad. I am going to give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

wow, same thing that I do, except that I use my computer... XL + outlook! - I've been thinking about going manual for my Journeys. For me I think a hole-punched book would be best. That way I can add things, etc.

May I ask, what came first, being an excellent organiser, or being a qualified bookeeper, or did your profession help you with your life organisational skills? I am a person who is dreadful at organisation, always late, begin xmas shopping on xmas eve even though it will, stress me out. My twin is the opposite, has xmas shopping done by the end of the previous Jan., as well as being great with money (though she did fall apart when she fell pregnant "too early" not allowing for two car payments).

I just started keeping a "bullet" journal about 2 weeks ago and I'm loving it! I didn't want to invest in a dot matrix journal yet as I have a number of lined journals I have collected (I'm kind of a paper addict) over the years that I need to use up first. I'm keeping it simple for now, no artwork, but would love to grow into that more creative aspect! I'm still exploring ideas to incorporate and really like your "memories" page, just a short concise diary page to remember your life highlights! I will be stealing that idea! A really great, short description of bullet journaling I have found is: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJ6UZpajjrpjf68si=hZUgz4mGGk-mOGuG from the creator of the bullet journal idea. Enjoyed your video and will be checking out more of your channel! ❤
