@@nupur8804it hasn't completely unfolded you'd feel a suction forming did you feel it? It doesn't make pop sound like people say or you might've inserted the cup too high It should sit right down your cervix and what's the size of your cup and your age?

Stem is not there for removing the cup, you should pinch the bottom of the cup (where the stem is attached) and wiggle out

I must have really lucked out when I tried the Diva Cup. I loved it from the moment I inserted it for the first time. I was astounded of how comfortable it was, and how effortless it was to use!

Anyone else can’t fiddle with the cup once it’s inside you bc the hole is too small?? Like I just can’t figure it out bc I can’t fit my fingers AND the cup up there😭I find it hard to pull it out bc my fingers can’t reach without it hurting (update:you will get used to it with time😌)

Little tip, use one finger to break the seal, and use the other hand to pull the cup from the stem. This makes it smaller to take out while only putting one finger up there. This might not work for everyone, but give a few techniques a go and do what works best for you

Where I'm from there isn't a lot of variety in cups and I just tried to get one that looked like good quality and also from a company that donated one. Some videos mention cervix length etc which I totally didn't think about.... Anyway, it is quite comfortable once (eventually) inserted so I'm quite hopefully that this initial getting used to will be worth it.

I’m trying out a menstrual cup for the first time and for the week leading up to my period I’ve been putting it in for an hour or so to practice inserting and removing and it’s helped me so much. I’m now comfortable with it and I’m due on my period any day now. X

I just got mine today and decided to give it a "dry run" I couldn't get it to where I couldn't feel it. I wasn't able to push it up anymore. I'm so sore/raw and I'm cramping. I'm scared it might get worse when I do menstruate because I feel like my cervix definitely gets lower when I'm on my period. I hope it gets better because I really want the cup to be life-changing like it is for everyone else.

Maybe you need a smaller cup or a softer cup. Try watch putacupinit, they have elaborate menstrual cup guide to help people. And if you feel like you wasted money on a cup you can destash it on their fb group

Try the saalt soft cup, it worked for me and the first successful cup to be inserted correctly!

Did you measure your cervix before buying it? Your cup might be too long, there are shorter cups out there for a lower cervix

I've been using a Diva cup for about 2 years, cut the stem off right after I first tried it, but still would find the bottom of the cup poking me. Super super uncomfortable. Just recently I tried flipping it inside out and it was much more comfortable. I couldn't believe it haha.

Hey.. i just recently started using cup instead of pads and I feel pain when the cup open in the vagina.. like this suction is pressuring too much.. is it normal ? I’m trying the push down fold and can get the top in then when it gets wide it starts to hurt. Then when I try to relax I start feeling a stinging pain

Look up a chart of the different folds to test them out to find what works best! I personally find the C fold the easiest. It also helps to get the cup wet so you're not pushing in a dry cup.

Okay so I tried it like 3 different times and all thise times I tried is atleast 10 times inserting it. The 4th time I tried it I inserted it and wiggled and squat to set it. So yes you need to give yourself time I am still not sure if I have gotten it this time so I am also wearing a pad just to be safe. So anyway. Good luck. If you don't get it then stay calm and try in your next period.

What are your suggestions for a cup that keeps moving down? I was using a Diva cup for years and I always felt like it might not have been the right cup for me but, it was working. Until recently and now I feel like it’s falling out of me and I’ve gone back to organic tampons (which I hate).

Jackie 1919 me too! Been using a cup for over a year and have not figured out how to fix this. The pros of using a cup have outweighed this problem though, so I just try to deal with it 😩. I also have to take my cup out sometimes because I literally cannot pee while it’s in. Definitely suboptimal though.

Jackie Cervantez I felt like that the first couple of months when I first started using my cup. I don’t notice it anymore so I think you get better the more you use it? I can’t feel mine anymore, so glad I found out about cups! I love them!

If possible, try to place it higher. Or get a softer one or one that is not very wide on the bottom (like a conical or v shaped instead of a bell shaped one).

Jackie Cervantez perhaps try different shapes.. I have found the Lilycup (original) with no rim is virtually invisible .. I can’t wear it because it’s too long, but the rimless design made it so comfortable. I have bad bladder pressure too .. the new tampax cup has also worked for me .. I think design/shape helps a lot

Just cut it. I have a diva and am trying to find a way to shorten it. I already cut the stem all the way to the base and found no issues with removal as I never used it anyway. To make it shorter I am debating flipping it inside out because it still pokes.

For some reason when I’m taking it out, the seal doesn’t break no matter how hard I pinch it (I mean it eventually does, but it hurts)

If you have a tricky time with the seal try using a finger to get up to the top to break the seal that way instead of pinching from the bottom.

I was having the same issue at first, I couldn't get it to open. What i did was after pushing it in about half way I let it go so it can pop open. It usually still has a small fold so then I rotate it and wiggle it around while pushing it in the rest of the way. Hope that helps!

Same here, I have a lower than 'low cervix'. Every 'small cup' has caused me pain or stuck out. I've never been able to flip the cup inside out neither. There is are menstrual cups on Amazon called Bollovi Low Cervix cups~ Honestly, they are so amazing~! Leak free and I never had cramping with them~

FemmeHead now it doesn’t itch anymore and it’s not painful (because I’ve learnt new tricks) but now my only problem is that I’m leaking every day and I know it’s because I’m putting it in my cervix but I can’t seem to fix that issue every time I put it below the cervix it just slides back up higher and I just give up

@@noname-mc3fb maybe your cervix dips into the cup and causes it to leak. Getting a bell shaped cup can help fix that as bell shaped cups have more capacity.
