Thanks Joric for the informative video. One typically hears about trams and metro but too much about buses. Thanks also for the safety tip! I work for a transportation org in the SF Bay Area and folks that get whacked by a mirror is not too uncommon (unfortunately) so appreciate raising this awareness to your viewers. 👍🏻

These photos are from the corner we get the bus and I’ve seen several people, usually taller tourists, get hit or nudged by the mirror as the Portuguese buses run right on the curb, as other places in the world run a few inches off the curb. Makes a big difference and don’t like seeing people get hit.

Thank you for another informative video. I’m from Phoenix as well. Hoping to retire to Portugal in 1-2 years and I never want to operate a vehicle again!

Actually in Glendale now, heading back to Portugal today. Not having a vehicle is an adjustment, but with all of the transportation options in Lisbon, it makes that adjustment very easy.

Thanks for your videos and tips! This is our first full month in Lisbon and we want to get a transit pass for the month. It looks like a complicated process. Any tips?

Head to one of the metro stations and the ticketing window can help you. This is a card that gets you all over Lisbon surrounding areas to the north and south - www.cp.pt/passageiros/en/train-times/Prices/passes-multi-operator-intermodal

@@traveltidbitsrus hi, we will move to lisbon summer 2023. Are you interested to find an Appartement for us? If yes, what’s your commission? We are germans and lived 10 years in China, then we are 3 years back in Germany and going to Lisbon next year.
