TIPS FOR VANLIFE | 10 Hacks for Full Time Van Life

Look for « no rise shampoo » (not dry shampoo) it is used in old age homes and is great for washing long hair without water. You can get the same thing in body wash- a lot of « nursing home » products are great for Van life- since individuals may not be able to get to a bath or shower. Plus they have been tested for over a decade sometimes and made for sensitive skin.

The heater under the bed is What I'm doing, it will cut down any mold or mildew. I installed a 24" x 24" boat hatch for a skylight. I installed a 16" radiator fan on a board with a PWM reversible speed controller, $37 for the fan and $18 for the PWM speed controller. $55 for a fan that can be ran at about 5% all the way up to 100% pulling or pushing 3,000 cfm. My Maxxair fan over the bed is rated at 900 cfm.

For #5, using a spray bottle with vinegar, and then wiping it away, is extremely good for odors that need eliminating on your body. For underarms, you can let it air dry, just wiping any falling drips away.
