September is the best time of the year to visit DC. We do still sometimes get an occasional hot day but it is usually really nice. There are still some flowers out and the leaves begin to change colors. This is one of the two most beautiful times of year to see DC but without the spring crowds. It is the best possible time to visit the zoo, museums and monuments. Bring a rain jacket and keep an eye on the weather reports.

My wife and I always travel to DC during Labor Day week. We love it. This year will be our 4th trip.

Both times I’ve been to DC have been in September. It was warm and a little humid but never too unbearable most of the time but cloudy and cool some days. It was perfect.

Hello! I just wanted to say thank you! We just got back from a trip with our three girls and couldn’t have had nearly as good of a time without your trip hacks. We have been watching for months collecting your advice and it pays off so well! Unfortunately we could not schedule a tour with your group, but next time!

I visit DC 3-4 times per year as there is always so much to do. September is always my fave time to visit, I’ve tried Spring to get to the Cherry Blossom but always missed them. :D Hoping to finalize my Sept trip shortly, and maybe get to book one of those private 3 hour tours.

Still some private tour availability for Sept. Hope you can make it.

Was there in late September last year and will be there this year as well. Weather was rainy at times, but still pleasant. Some days shorts, other days jeans.

Just discovered your channel. I'm about to watch some of your transportation tips playlist. Unfortunately, we will be living near DC for most of 2020 for work. So, I guess it would be a good idea to check out some of the tourist stuff while we're there. Just not looking forward to the cost of living, traffic, crowds, taxes, and laws of the area... Coming from TX.
