Honestly unsure man, maybe he just needs to grind 1s more and really dedicate to it as a gamemode. It might be because he knows the way you play and counters it instead of playing against new opponents each game
@joaorafaeloliveira17814 жыл бұрын
@Euler's Identity 1s is a very honest game mode, if he is stuck in D1, he is playing at D1 level. Since he seems to be way better mechanically and in game sense than his opponents, I think he is just tilting. maybe he loses his calm when he get scored by a slower player or get really nervous when hit Div. IV and can't perform properly. In a friendly environment he is relaxed and can perform at his best. The best way to verify it is to watch a demo of him playing a game against you and after that watch the demo of a ranked game that he losed.

@Euler's Identity maybe its his mindset. If I was playing someone I know then I would play differently. Also, what is you and your c2/d3 friend's 2s and 3s ranks? Because if your plat3 friend is a higher rank in those gamemodes, he may feel that he should win, so he does. It's all about the mindset for me, but that's just a theory

Not a pro, but a gc in 1's I think the biggest and most common mistake I see in my opponents is playing more aggressively when they start losing It works in 2's, it works in 3's, but in 1's it works the opposite way It's very easy to read them, and usually it all goes downhill for my opponent from there

Great vid, Bit of feedback though, I think it would be really useful if you had a summary section though at the end on what the key things were. I.e shooting pack (aim for xyz), staying close in 1s and working on dribbling for example. One thing that I do think would add is explaining what the pros mean by utilising freeplay as well. Keep up the great content though, looking forward to seeing some of your clips and the next 100 hours video!

Thanovic, This video was amazing mate, got loads of great advice and 3 unique playstyles / viewpoints. Personally I love the longer videos as they offer a lot more in depth look at the intricacies of higher level play. Hope to see more like this and maybe in the future have a Replay Analysis with one of these top 1s players to get a better idea of the reasoning behind decisions. So rather than "freeplay to improve mechanics" maybe its 10 minutes in freeplay only doing wavedashes coming off a wall to specifically improve recoveries. Or something to that nature. Keep it up! -Fuzzy

Watched all the way to the end! I’ve put more hours into RL than most of my friends who are C1/C2 while I range from D1-D3. They’re all a lot more aggressive than me, better at dribbling/flicking, more accurate at shooting, and better at reading plays. My main strength is defending because most of my matches my friends or random teammates are often breaking rotation and any time I finally decide to push up, they do too and we get scored on. I NEVER play 1’s, so I’m really hoping it helps me all around as a player. I also need to do more training packs/extra modes maps. I had significant improvements to my game when I would practice for an hour or two every day, but most of the time as soon as I get on, my friends invite me right away and we jump straight into matchmaking. Also, their casual MMR or however that works is way higher than mine, so I usually get annihilated when I join lobbies with them, but at least after those matches I’m quite a bit better than most people my rank. This game has so much to learn and so many ways to improve!
@elianjoensen27564 жыл бұрын
you probably have a major flaw in your game sense where you are very passive and don’t rotate at all, so when you do decide to push up your teammate doesn’t expect it. but this is just a guess. my point is that we usually don’t see our own mistakes.

I am not very experienced in RL, but I feel that when pros say "be more aggressive" or "challenge more" what they really should say is that you need to learn to make better decisions faster. It does not make sense to challenge in many situations, e.g. when you are lower on boost or the enemy will be at the ball faster. But making the decision not to challenge when you could have gives the impression that you should challenge more, just as making the decision to challenge when you should not have gives the impression of you being too aggressive. It is really mostly about reading the situation better and acting accordingly. Playing risky when your assessment was right is not a thing you should do often.
@Thanovic4 жыл бұрын
