This is an example why I like dressing in *simple* techwear every now and again because it's something that's not trendy on everyone AND I focused on comfort, so it's COMFORTABLE... what more could I ask for?
@corbincore4 жыл бұрын
Travis B I totally agree! Being simple with techwear is often “less is more”!

A good tip is that you should wear something that you feel secure wearing.

It’s cool to know that you’re into tech wear and I’m into military|tactical wear 😉

Would you really want to be able to walk into a store and buy techwear from H&M or some store? I like that most techwear isn't easily obtainable unless you know.
@corbincore4 жыл бұрын
no I definitely would NOT want that lol. I agree with you, man. I like how it's not well known
@B00GRRR4 жыл бұрын
@@corbincore exactly my point I love being able to walk around and not look like everyone else wearing the same hyped garments. I have people stopping me all the time asking what I'm wearing cause I look like a "ninja from the future" lol
@corbincore4 жыл бұрын
@@B00GRRR I think that's sick. another thing I like about techwear is that, largely speaking, it doesn't recycle old styles like how a lot of contemporary fashion is "okay lets do 90s, okay now early 2000s". techwear seems to focus on the future (however it does take from military garms and some hiker gear here and there)
@B00GRRR4 жыл бұрын
@@corbincore YES! That is another great aspect of it!! Also a lot of people still aren't in the know with techwear, so people like us wearing it sometimes helps people discover a style that they never thought about implementing into their own wardrobe.

Being Puerto Rican and also going into teaching, my style I'd say is pretty diverse and I love mixing it up. But now that I live in Massachusetts, I've been testing the waters on the tech wear side, because of the weather and I really like a lot. I've been looking for some inspiration and tips, so I'm glad I found this and some other channels to help out. So keep up the good work 🤙🏼

I’d be interested in that chest rig actually, depending on what you’d want for it and what shipping would be. Good video once again, I remember forking out a bunch of money when I was a skate rat to stay ahead of trends in that scene. In hindsight it’s useless and cringe. Nowadays my style is mostly tactical with performance kept in mind but not being the main focus, and a lot of that stuff is surprisingly cheap from military suppliers and surplus stores even buying new.
@corbincore4 жыл бұрын
i'd sell it for under retail for sure. Thank you man! the skate scene seems very trendy, especially with the instagram skaters. military clothes are a bargain. even if its not actually military surplus and just rothco of something, its still good quality and well made IMO
