The forceps/scissors hanging on your chest upside down is a health hazard. If you slip and fall face forward it can impale and injure you seriously. I suggest you keep them in the backpack or hang it at the back side (not the side touching your back) of your backpack.

absolutely! I use about 30inches of 15lb flourocarbon. It works great for the winter where I fish. Hope this helps
