Im a 50 year old chippy who used to build tilt panel factories with a small crew and thats how i learnt. Its just getting in there and having a go. Thanks for being so patient and helpful to the new guy. You seem like a great instructor mate. Best wishes from Brisbane

The way i explain screeding is that it's like a seesaw. You are the centre point where it balances. You can get the screed to hit the height on one side, but the seesaw can still be on an angle making the opposite side to high. So you can top the seesaw the opposite way and make the other side the get the height you want, but always remember - you're the centre point so you have to PULL YOUR MIDDLE DOWN as well. Make sure you yell that bit at the young fella.
