You my friend are truly a professional. It's so nice to see that there are still a handfull of highly skilled restoration craftsmen that have such a deep passion for what they do! You treat every car like it is your own. Props to you Rick.

Man, you take all this in stride. Here's a floor that was repaired wrong, we're gonna fix it with this funny panel that doesn't fit. I'd be screaming by now.

First time watching your videos and found it interesting having two 68 mustangs myself. I have a tip for you that will help you with this kind of work and make it easier. Take a look at how Fitzee does his "cut and butt" method of butt welding. It is the best way I have ever seen anyone do butt welding. Makes it look ridiculously easy. Oh his channel is Fitzee Fabrication and I guarantee you will be impressed.

Judging by the other comments most of us have encountered some pretty bad repair jobs, It is nice to see it being done right even if it is "just a driver" . Most would just lap it over tack it in seam seal or tar the hell out of it like it was don before and call it a day. Don't be afraid to share your knowledge we all appreciate it, at least I do LOL.

The finer points of panel repair. Will be nice when its done. Saw one a few years back”Restored” Looked like they took the floor out with an axe. The one i had in shop for rack and pinion in june, was worse than what you have here, you would never know it started off as a basket case. That one was done really well. Keep it up man, i like learning and watching quality work!
