Great video Mike, thanks for doing this! I agree completely, they should really do a Best FM Lishi next, like they did the SC20 to cover multiple sectional keyways. But I agree it would need to be pretty strong. Carrying around an FM blank just for working lube into SFIC locks might be a good idea-doesn’t need to be super strong just to run it in and out. I’ve found that really focusing on the “set bounce” with Lishis is the key to getting opens, even more than heavy or light tension. I’ll email you a couple of videos I saved on the topic. Just yesterday I had a Master #5 padlock I needed to pick and decode, it took me an embarrassingly long time but I finally got it by forcing myself to methodically go through each chamber repeatedly and look for the set bounce (a 0 cut was the challenge on that one). One other thing is that the Lishi standoff spacers might work for the BE2-7 so it can be used with 6-pin locks; I’ll include a few in your package so you can check yourself :)

I agree with you 100% and I’ll try that because I have a master lock coming up next down the line. Thanks for all your insight is so helpful to have a guy like you on the team cheering on the lishi challenge. You are the best. Thanks again.

Haha Zhi Qin Li the inventor of Lishi tools is not from Japan he is from China. (Edit: My mistake he is in fact from Japan )Figured I’d comment this before anyone angrily commented. Japan is a beautiful place though definitely agree with that. Loving the video seven minutes into the video and loving it! The hair comb transition was great!
