Thanks for sharing, I will certainly endeavour to challenge myself to be a better modeller, the kits that you use I find difficult to get hold of in the UK, so I'm going to try and create my own kits influenced on structures near to me in the north east of England, including my home town of Darlington. Great work again Jason. Those Ammo paints, shaders and other items seem to make the weathering pop out more. With the wood not warping using the ammo items do you see yourself using this technique more then using a acrylic and water stain? Hi Jason, you make amazing buildings. I love them. I found your Pepsi sign very interesting. That is a highlight in the house. I'm doing a model railway for a primary school with a friend. A long project !! I found a way to put up signs or graffiti. You look for a suitable template on the Internet, print it mirrored on 80 g paper and then apply it to the building with Photo Transfer potch (mod potch). I paint white areas on the model beforehand. You can use that for anything that is painted on walls and surfaces. It's a different way than yours and can be used especially for small signs. If you like I can send you a link to it.

Did you plan out the whole design before you started to put the models together or was it a go by the feel kind of way?. I am really interested in the process , especially the thinking behind it , another quick question ,do you write short stories for particular houses or set pieces? , all the pieces you have done feels like they have an interesting back story.I once heard from a great artist that micro composition is a gem of a skill to posses, with your sets I feel as if you have mastered the art of micro composition.

Yes, put the wash on both sides at the same time. Dont get the wood very wet. I have some older videos on painting and weathering walls.
