Located along scenic Sonoma Highway 12 in Kenwood, TIPS Roadside cooks up hearty, Southern-inspired comfort food that’s the perfect fare to fuel up for an afternoon of wine country touring (or even to soak up the morning mimosas after)! Then, in Oakland, Café Colucci crafts vegetarian-friendly Ethiopian dishes that highlight the unique spices, heirloom herbs and flavors of East African cuisine. Finally, in San Francisco’s Lower Pacific Heights, Routier, co-founded by one of the region’s most renowned pastry chefs, whips up “French-ish” fare, celebrating the elegance and refinement of French cuisine, wine and, of course, dessert.

Beautiful food all around... I remember the days when a super burrito was merely $5. Spending 10% of your Routier tab [I'd love to enjoy] was an indulgence....

I have been going to Cafe Colucci for decades. Unfortunately, I could not get in tonight at six as a walk in. The hostess says that this is because of “Check Please”. She recommends everyone now make reservations. I am happy for their ongoing success-and hungry for their food. Some other time.

Adobe Canyon Road, which starts at TIPS Roadside, leads to Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. We love to go hiking there, knowing we can get a great casual dinner at TIPS afterwards. The fried chicken with andouille gravy and veggies is a favorite.

TIPS Roadside has closed, but the owners of Sonoma restaurant Animo have announced that they are taking over the space and opening a more casual restaurant (more casual than Animo)
