Appreciate the tips! I was able to disassemble our 13’x13’ jumbo model by myself in about an hour. Full disclaimer: That hour was actual working time. It took me a little over hours with several breaks because I’m out of my shape, and the damn mosquitoes were eating me alive!

Thx much for the tips! Our manual (from years ago mind you) says to remove every 5th rod. Also there are helpful videos describing different techniques on how to remove the rods. Be careful! Loaded rods can spring out at you and damage eyes, extremities, etc. Don’t put your face or other body parts anywhere near a rod as you are taking one out or putting one in!

Thanks for this... just solo dismantled a 13x8... I'm a reasonably fit guy but it was still an absolute mission - did it in 2 hours but I feel like a broken man! Still, your vid was handy as much as a warning as anything else! Funnily enough one of my biggest struggles was the net pole pockets. I just couldn't get a single one out. Ended up just working around them then bundling the net, poles & all into the car. Just about to go at them with some water & washing liquid to hopefully ease them out! Fortunately will be reassembling with multiple helpers so should be easier.... what a project though! I almost wonder if they make it so hard to discourage re-sellers! Still, looks like a great trampoline, I'm sure all the pain will be forgotten once it's up!

I totally LOL'ed at your "..but I feel like a broken man!" You DID IT though! My husband is convinced that he now has arthritis in his fingers after the dismantling. I hope your kids love it ! If they get bored with it, make sure to start FLAP-JACK games on trampoline. It's darn fun to watch the kids do it. Looks safer than the flips and other crazy stuff. Good Luck re-assembling (much easier, imo)

@@milacarmel Haha, thanks... have you got a link to the flap-jack thing.... I just had a google but can't seem to find? In other news, managed to get the net poles out finally.... if anyone comes across this post & has the same struggle the trick was to spray a load of water into the pocket, then have someone carefully stand with feet either side of the pocket (trying to spread the weight so not to stress any single bit of net) while I yanked & twisted. Once we got the technique down it was relatively easy.... painful getting there though! Right, now to dismantle our old swingset and put it up.... I'm gonna need a month long recuperation period by the time this is done!

You’re right. I can’t find this simple game KZbin... perhaps these kids invented it? Anyway, here’s a demo: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6PZeXxqfqysrK8 The kids “ranks” themselves. King/Master/newbie/trash 🤣. The kin can do the most flap-jacks in a row... and sometimes they reverse them and what not. As long as they are safe 😊

It says right in the instructions not to do them in order. Start at the blue tag and go counterclockwise, removing every second bar I think. My problem is that I can get the white rod out of the ball, but can’t move it down it seems.

I obviously missed that important detail. They make it sound so easy to dismantle it. LOL. Anyway, I know this can be a one man job to set it up but to dismantle it after a few years, I think you definitely need 2 people. You need to have someone hold onto the mat while doing it. If you are outside, holding on to the mat, then the person under can pull it inside and downwards OR switch roles.

Once disassembled is it something that could fit in a mid-size SUV (with backseats down)?
@milacarmel4 жыл бұрын
I used my mini van and it was plenty of room. I am positive medium oval size will fit in an SUV with backseats down. Might have to wiggle the curved portion of the rods init to the front row a little? They are about 7-8ft long. So are the long black net rods but these things are flexible so you can bend them a little to fit into your back. Good Luck. Do let know if it worked in your SUV if you get around to it.

Sorry, this didn't help at all. Couldn't hear what you were saying and the tips were of no help to us. Three of us working on those white rods and we couldn't get a single one free. Ended up just wrecking the thing and recycling the frame.

Omg! I’m so sorry to hear this. It is incredibly hard ,for sure. I guess you also need a lot of determination besides man power. My husband and I aren’t big people and at one point was tempted to give up. I found it so hard that I felt a need to make a tips video. I agree audio is bad but I don’t do this for an income 🤪 just wanted to spread some tips I wish I had known prior to braving this task (with least amount of time and effort🤣 input)

@@milacarmel It's ok! I was pretty disheartened when I found your vid as I'd just destroyed a $2000 trampoline! I'm just glad I'm not the only one who found it hard to bring down!

OH my GOD. That had to hurt just trashing something this expensive. I'm preparing to take one down tomorrow that I sold so I really hope that I don't run into the same thing!
