I appreciate and agree that as a parent it is foremost important to imbibe values in kids. As a parent of 15 year old daughter I also feel it is important to not to judge the kid if they do or talk about something. I have a very open and friendly relationship with her but I also have to play a critic. I listen everything and discuss what I feel she could have done differently in some Situation. After speaking my Mind I do insist that life is all about learning and not get bogged down by mistakes since every single human being had made mistakes in life. One another point I emphasize is to have a very open and honest conversation with people around her. It is perfectly ok to disagree but do it politely. She is also working part time so I stress the importance of having good communication at work and at school. Thanks for the video

My wife a teacher of 20 years experience and My self Indian central Government engineer and proud to say that we grew up our son in India with strict as well as very liberal.so much question he asked about eating non veg as we are non brahminical Saivam ie vegetarian.explained good and bad finally he selected non vegetarian and given the reason that entire world eating meat and accepted it .though he is not enjoying the meat as it was introduced in college mess but he was given the chance to choose. Now living in different countries he does not have problem of eating though we sacrificed our sanctity of religion.hard decisions but I got be liberal instead strict.
