Tom Merrick Selfmade bulking bars with oats, honey, peanut butter, milk, cocoa and some seeds took my nutrition to the next level. They are a quick high calorie snack and very easy to prepare for the week! Oh and they taste awesome (:

Currently catching up on your old videos since they're awesome. I'm contemplating fully switching to bodyweight training. I've done a lot of bodyweight stuff before and definitely felt healthier.

Ah thanks dude! I have to say it's all just tools. Lifting weights isn't bad and bodyweight isn't better, what matters is what you enjoy and what your goals are. Saying this we all know bodyweight is better, c'mon ;)

good to hear Kesh. It's a cook book based on traditional recipes from a wide range of cultures. It's got a western bias on recipes but it's great for learning how to process food properly (fermenting, soaking, sprouting etc) :)

Thanks for the inspiration. Good job as always. Adding value to to help us live our dreams. I have decided to nickname this the...True Confessions Episode... at 4:45 in a conspirator hushed confession we hear "I'm a little bit addicted alright?" I love it ha ha ha Did someone yell at you today? ha ha You could be addicted to worse. Fun to watch.

Yes, everyone has an addiction, Mine would be the dark choc. as I once mentioned. But the good stuff. : )~ Like what you have. How many grams of caffeine do you think you consume in an active day? I used to drink a little bit in the morning, then I realized it didn't fit in with my guidelines, plus, it was giving me acid reflux. Really like the Nourishing Traditions book, I don't have as much time to read it as I'd like right now, but I will get through it. Love the music you picked for this video. I asked Siri what the song was, and listened to it 3 times before finishing the video. No, I couldn't wait. Haha Looking really good at 10:25. Your musculature really shows during this movement. I'm not much for breakfast, since I'm not a morning person, so, I've been drinking Garden of Life's Organic Meal. Good stuff. I also have an Organic Coconut Peanut Spread that I think you would like, Mine is enhance with Blue Agave though, and not reg sugar, which makes it low glycemic. I also have Orgain's Organic Super Foods which has Probiotics.

Coffee and dark chocolate is just too good. Umm between 30-40g usually although espresso does extract less caffeine. Coffee loves me and I love it. For me I have to make sure I go decaf every month or so to not become reliant. It's a great reference book for sure. Ah cool man, I feel to suits the content.Awesome man, sounds like you're on it. Thanks for the comment :)

Dude, i just had a shoulder surgery and will be able to work out again in about 4 Months if i'm lucky 😅.. I want to start really slow to not risk an injury again, do you have any workout plans for "beginners"?
@BodyweightWarrior
@BodyweightWarrior 7 жыл бұрын
Slow and steady for sure! Build up with the basics and come back stronger than ever. Something like my beginner program from the eBook would suit. Keep the reps high and intensity very low. Good luck and speady recovery :)

Hi tom, great content as usual :) can you explain why are you having these macros-splits? aren't fat percentage too high respect your total calories? I am very curious about. Thank you for the tips anyway ;)
@BodyweightWarrior
@BodyweightWarrior 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Fabio. So roughly going for 20:40:40 (Protein, carbs, fat) for macro split, usually edging more towards 20:35:45. Fat isn't bad, in fact, it's essential to our health. I used to eat more towards keto with like 20:20:60 split but have changed a bit with carbs. Energy balance, whole foods and you can't go wrong :)

What's your best tip regarding weight gains?? Also nice vid as always! I'm a big fan of your work, from Portugal!
@BodyweightWarrior
@BodyweightWarrior 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, keeping it simple: eat more, sleep more and find a balance in training load, often people mistakenly do too much. Less volume but keep the intensity high. Something like my mass gain program in the bodyweight warrior ebook is a good start. Good luck dude!

Salads are always great but not everyone's cup of tea. Soup is another good option. Overnight oat recipes (similar to the soaked oats in this video) are great and can just be eaten cold.
