Thank you for this info Brad. So easy to make it difficult - and so difficult to make it easy, you have managed well with your methods. Considerable in many respects. Thank you for sharing.

Very good information. Just one thought, the correct word to use would be photos or images. The word "photographs" (photo= light, graph=paper) is incorrect because we don't deliver a physical "photo", rather a digital image or photo. Photos or images is what we use now a days unless you are giving a physical photo or album the client can hold in its hand.

Only one thing, your web site is to long, if you shorten it you get more potential customers to remember it and you get more hits, you want more people to remember your website when they first hear it versus having to write it down and remembering how to spell it. Great job👍🏼

What's the easiest and fastest way to correct the verticals?
@BradZChef4 жыл бұрын
Having your camera or phone square and level when you take the photos is the 1st step. The tripod makes this easier. After that, you can make the correction in professional editing software like Light Room.

How did you do the picture of the bathroom with no camera in the mirror?
@officialbradzimmerman5 жыл бұрын
I set the camera just below the bottom of the mirror and/or have the camera at an angle that just cuts the camera out of the shot on the edge.

As a real estate agent and a professional photographer, real estate agents should NEVER use a cell phone for their property photos. You can tell a cell phone photos from a DSLR photo instantly. I hear agents all the time preaching to homeowners how they should always use a "professional" when they sell their home, but yet the agent turns around and uses a cell phone to take the listing photos. So how does it look for an agent who preaches this but yet doesn't apply professionals in their own real estate business?

a friend of mine asked me to give a 1 day cellphone photography for Real Estate companies.....Should I? In some way i am teaching them to ditch pro photographers like me and others, to devalue the hard work behind photography....

Funny! I'm doing my 2nd one of these this week. Start off by giving some tips and tricks for them. Help them get acceptable shots with a cell phone, THEN- shift gears and talk about how you correct verticals, manage color casts, have developed an eye for composition, how the clients have a favorable perception of their Realtor hiring a Pro. Show them how to leverage your photos so that they 1) help get the property under contract in fewer days-on-market AND bring more full price offers 2) how to post them to Social Media 3) How to use your photos and the fact that they will hire you to help them get new listings. Finally- remind Realtors that there are only 24 hours in a day- they can spend them taking and editing photos (something they can pay someone else to do) OR they can invest their time "calling expired Listings" and doing other marketing to get more new listing (something only THEY can do).

Better Real Estate photos? Hire a professional. Nobody likes to see crooked lines and disgusting HDRs.
