TIPS, TRICKS, & COST BREAKDOWN for two weeks in a camper van | Australia East Coast

We have just spent the past 2 weeks in a campervan road tripping down Australia's East Coast and will be sharing our TIPS, TRICKS, & COST BREAKDOWN.
We are so sad because today is the last day of our East coast adventure in Australia with our campervan. We wake up in Rainbow Beach after finishing an awesome trip to Fraser Island and make the drive down to Brisbane.
We make a quick stop in Noosa Heads for lunch along the way and then return the campervan once we make it to Brisbane.
We then head to our hotel to get ready for the 3rd leg of our month in Australia.
To break down the cost of our 2 weeks in the van, we spent on average per day:
Groceries: $25
Dining: $18
Caravan Parks: $40
Fuel: $29
Campervan: $120
Campervan insurance: $55
TOTAL: $287 which is roughly $198 USD
We had such an incredible time on the East coast and would not trade this experience for anything!

Could you tell me from your exp, if it is worth taking a campervan with a toilet in it? Otherwise, how would you attend nature's calls in the middle of nowhere owing to frequent driving?

How bad were the flies when cooking outside. Did they ever get inside the camper?

To be honest I do not remember the flies being too bad when we were on the East Coast... but they were terrible in the Red Center (not sure if you are planning to go there or not). It wasn't really a problem with them getting in the van though, we were just careful to keep the doors closed.

@@WaypointofView I spent about 5 days on the west coast in Perth and Kalbarri in November 2019. The flies were absolutely awful around Kalbarri.
