Elaine, great advice! What is most important to client. Sometimes it is schedule (depending on school) other times it is itinerary, cost is always a factor.

I like the cruises with as many ports as possible because it’s the only way to see many cities in a short amount of time without having to repack every night or two nights. Also cruises that go places that would otherwise be unobtainable or much more expensive to travel to, so it’s like you are getting a deal with that experience. I think I would feel like I am wasting money doing a mostly at sea cruise since there is not much to see and it would be easier, faster, and cheaper to just fly there.

I loved doing Disney Fantasy, but being just Two of us we prefer more of an adult centered experience. Any chance they have an adult cruise every now then? Right now we have been doing Celebrity.

you can even book celebrity through Dreams for no added cost and you get onboard credit i think

I really think it is good to start with a short 3-4 night cruise. That way you can see if you are sensitive to the motion and if you enjoy cruising. Though specialty cruises can be expensive, depending on when you cruise, they can actually be some of the least expensive and all of the extra theming and events are like a bonus. I also use my onboard credit to pay my gratuities.
