Some great info that I hadn't thought of. I have noticed the x vs y action but didn't know what it was called. I noticed the flash when strobing a two tone panfish assassin and bobby Garland minnows for cold water crappies and a ton of smallmouth bonus fish in the winter. I too prefer mono but yozuri hybrid has been a best of both worlds kind of thing the last few years and it isn't extremely expensive, try it you'll like it. I too like the shorter rods and round reels, I have a dozen old 3600 Abu's from the 90s. The best square bill seminar I've ever seen period. Thanks for a great dump of practical and revealing information.
