My Car have a problem with automatic transmission how to fix automatic transmission problems , and we did this video for all of you who have any idea for fixing this problem with Automatic Transmission Problem , its a Vw Passat 2003 with petrol 1.8 Turbo. Car Also have LPG system installed and it works with Gas.
I need your help with this problem , do somebody know this problem? i know repairing automatic transmission are very expensive so please write your suggestion in comment box thank you for your suggestions.

There is a rubber bushing infront of the bonnet that cushions that Rod from hitting the cross bar in front of the bonnet, so you might have to replace it.

I had a 2002 passat 2.8 v6 4motion, i had it for 2 weeks lovely drive then left it cold for 2 days and this same thing happened, went into to drive and felt like the car had been rear ended and also engine overheated 2 days later, engine and gearbox shot, garage to me to get rid, was the only vw i ever had i was gutted.

Your transmission mount / engine mount may be need replacing. Cause the rubber in the mount is no good that's why there's a clunk when you changing gear to D

Same issue 2000 Passat. Also does it while driving and I reactively swear out loud each time. However it only started doing this after I sealed up all of my leaks in the air intake area. So maybe I missed a leak and it's accentuating the problem now. Also it doesn't always do it, maybe 60% of the time. Only from neutral to drive. Very strange. Shakes the whole engine like a burp of some sort. Air getting stuck somewhere until finally forcing it all out at once, forcing the gears to move and the car to jerk forward a bit.

Just fixed the same problem in my 08 passat. If it is only doing it when putting it in to gear, it is an electrical wire going into your transmission. Just make sure it is plugged in.

My car will drive when i put it n drive then stop n wont go while i press on the gass. I also have a 08 passat. It wont reverse or go , and if it does itll do it then stop going while im driving. Any solutions?

I have a similar problem its does it slightly in R and N but Hard going in to drive and does the same shifting from 1st to 2nd and downshifting from 2nd to 1st. What could that be.

I have the same noise and I think it is the subframe bolts that have stretched. Have someone look under the car while you torque the engine with your foot on the brake. it will be the subframe or the motor/transmission mount.

Could you please advise me. My car (VW Sharan 2008, 2.9 TDi, automatica) was driving all well. Then yesterday when I tried to reverse, I heard/felt a jolt and car won't reverse, although I can drive forward. What could be the reason please? I need to know something before I can call the mobile mechanic. Otherwise they will straight away say gearbox knackered and try to charge me £600+. N93 solenoid fail! This solenoid add a pressure to other solenoid.( 8+1 ) but maybe contact fail..check the solenoids

Utube or google how to reset the transmission computor. I’m not possitive about the exact sequence, but l think it is;.. turn the key to on position, then in 5-seconds press the excellerator 5-times, then turn key to off position and after a few seconds crank the engine and test drive it.

I have a Passat 1999 with the same transmission and this happens only if i don't let the car warm after a cold start. Normally i wait until the engine heats up for 2 min approx. After that the issue doesn't happen. Also change your transmission fluid and transmission filter using this instructions: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWnNlIWaacysjcU The fluid should be LT71141. You can buy it on eBay and you will need 6 quarts approx. Also the transmission and engine mounts could be damaged.

​@@Tips2Fix if the TCM (transmission control module, located under the passenger footrest) isn't the issue, then it's likely the Transmission Range Selector Sensor also called the Neutral Safety Switch. It's generally known as F125 sensor and it's located behind the transmission rubber holder. Google "Transmission Range Selector" for your type of car and you'll get plenty of results

this problem is about gear box valve body part's selenoids, I have same problem with my vw touareg, some gear box services said valve body must be changed (it is very expensive) but maybe you can find selenoid repair service in your country

It looks more like an engagement problem! The entire gearbox needs to be checked by an authorized mechanic! Go ask some professional! It won't cost you anything! If the problem is severe, sooner or later you'll get stuck in the middle of the road, and regret it! Let me ask you something! Does this persist while shifting from gear to gear too? Because I have some problem like this too! Mine is hitting hard like this when shifting into 3rd gear especially when the engine is on high rpm! 3.500 and above! Let me know how it goes!

A strong internal condensation for vehicles that sleeps outside can occur and water runs on the bottom of the car and therefore the computer takes the water.

Under battery there is a dran make sure it's cleaned out so water can flow if you have sun roof make sure that them drans are clean as well

I had same problem with my passat 1.8t check the airflow meter wires or change ur air flow meter. This is how i solved my problem. The airflow meter wire is disconnect sending load signal code to the gear box module.
