Having similar issue w/my son's mx350. Power button glows red, batteries are charged (and show 28v). When I turn the throttle, all I get is click sound from the control module and zero movement from rear wheel. However, if I hold the throttle full open and then rotate the rear tire with my free hand, the rear tire will spin, but once I let go of the throttle (and the rear wheel comes to a complete stop) the throttle reverts back to causing a clicking sound from inside the metal controller and the wheel will not turn from a dead stop :(

@@willk6274 did you find a fix i have brand new batteries and fully charged but glows red and I hear a click i also tested the motor and it runs fine only thing i can think of is the computer module but haven't tired buying one yet

I have the same issue with the mx500 I just got. Blown fuse and melted motor-controller terminals. I am gonna get the same connectors you mentioned! I already got the rest of the tools! But I will also modify it to a 800w motor and 1000 controller.

Not actual brake line but a wire that tells motor to turn off coming from brake line.

Im having the same issue on a dirt quad and my connectors were all good. I replaced the control box, but still doing the same thing. I'm debating on replacing the motor next.

@@caseymaroney5028 sure they do ... LOL I'm a rookie with these myself but as many Power Wheels I made work found in the garbage there are similarities. Just bought a version 7 mx350 they told me JUST needed batteries for 20 bucks. Put new ones in and works after disconnecting brake wire but goes very slow and tries to pull when the throttle is not being touched ... got my work cut out for me unless someone has an idea

So mine got done charging and then I was riding it and I hit some pine tree roots I went over them with ease the first time but then when I went back over them my sx500 completely cut off I felt the motor and it was hot very hot

I figured out why that part melts 🤣 as adults are too big to be putting around on that 😇 I weigh 185 and that bike pulls me around with no problem, but it's pulling the power to do it and melting that piece

Clicking sound when throttle engaged but doesn't go??? 1)Could also be the brake switch is shorted out. To test removed brake switch(not the brake cable). 2)bad batteries. 3)bad connections/wire have breaks or corrosion in the actual wire.

This is a good place to start but isnt the only reason will click and not move. What was the reason it overheated? Bad connector before melted? Could happen again One I just bought used did same thing. I disconnected the wire coming from brake and fixed mine but doesnt stop motor when engaged. Will have to order the part

I had the same issue on my pocket mod. So I bought a new motor,speed module controller, a better throttle and obviously batteries and I get nothing. Any idea what my problem could be? I also replaced the power switch and I think it was fried connectors were charted. Just completely black. Any ideas how i can fix it?

My problem is clunking from the engine going from slow to fast and not getting more power. I have a Swchinn Missile 24v and a 500 w motor don't know if I also have to up grade on anything else or is the motor (new) is no good? any help will be deeply appreciated.

Could one just solder and heat shrink the individual wires together, or is there something else going on inside the connectors?

Replace the battery’s! Is always the battery’s or melted terminals also check all 3 fuses.

So my problem was the a switch in the front brake lever went bad. I disconnected it and it's working now. I guess I need to find a new lever or switch.
