(Note: for the newcomer, my videos are mostly about Asian recipes so a lot of this stuff is more Asian-leaning, but this is about the VERY basics so there's stuff to cover the basics of everything.)

My family makes about a metric shit ton of fish weekly. We all keep Lemon Pepper seasoning on hand at all times. Also, good idea to have both white and brown sugar handy.

What about comparing fresh against canned or frozen i.e. mung beans sprouts I can never find them fresh close to where I live and lo mien noodles the supermarket brand's never compare to restaurant or take out places and I love char sui pork lo mien 😋

99% of the time, fresh is better than frozen (obviously) but frozen is usually better than canned, depending on what kind of food you're talking about and if it's frozen/blanched properly. Some restaurants may make their own Lo mein noodles, but an Asian market near you may actually have both of these things fresh. If there is one. And you can guesstimate close enough as to what's what when little is in English 😂
