I'm a 1st year culinary student and i am starting my first kitchen job in 2 days as a pantry chef. Super excited to learn new things and start my career towards being a chef!

Pantry is the best position in the business. I love making salads, wraps etc.. it's an art.

As a graduate, I'm sad to see this place is now gone forever. Covid pretty much devastated the restaurant industry and any training programs that were around. The pain and loss are immeasurable.

Most restaurants don’t use gloves because it’s more efficient just washing your hands

@@caimanj5119 So, walking back and forth to the handwashing sink is more efficient than wearing gloves and swapping them out as needed? Notsomuch. And as for "most", where's that data? Nevermind.
