"Title Cards: While not strictly necessary..." Yeah, no doubt KZbin figured this out so long ago. We pretty rarely see credits for cartoons online. Netflix won't even let you view the credits of a cartoon anymore, without playing an ad fullscreen overtop by default. What does it really mean to have your name flash on the screen for 1 second online in today's market? Not a whole lot, imo.

Official credit is definitely important, especially in animation; which has a history of mis-crediting crew.
