Un trébuchet n'est pas un Couillard. C'est différent ! Et la catapule vous dite trébuchet-catapulte aussi? Le Couillard a été dans l'armée française jusqu'à Napoléon III, pas le trébuchet.

Bonjour monsieur je pense que vous faites erreur, je suis spécialiste des armements de l'antiquité et du Moyen-âge en Europe occidentale et centrale. Il s' agit bien d un trébuchet Couillard selon le traité sur les armes de sièges remis par le sénéchal des ordres militaires au Prévôt de Rambouillet, détaché du Roy aux questions préposées. Le documents est disponible aux archives du Musée des armées. a bon entendeur..

Je rappelle quand même que la cinématique est un peu différente entre les machines, celle du Couillard étant plus proche du pierrier.. (pas d'auge) Je n'est pas la prétention de quoi que ce soit mais cela fait près de vingt ans que je m'intéresse à la chose.... Doit on dire trébuchet mangonneau- trébuchet aussi ? Et bricole-trebuchet?

@@geiko64 non, ça n'est pas forcément recommandé d utiliser ces formulations qui sont un peu redondantes et historiquement plutôt fausses. Assez d Accord avec vous cependant sur le rapprochement avec le pierrier, assez contemporain et dérivé dans son utilisation en plaine
