albanians cook at home so they usually won't go out to eat what they can make, with that said albanians aren't by any means super cooks, the supermarket is filled with frozen chopped veggies, marinated meats, powders and canned sauces. Which sell very well.

Dude Albania is not a fanatic Muslim country we really don’t care about religions we all live in harmony and marry with each other. It is the most tolerant country in the world when it comes to religion. If you ask someone what is your religion the answer would be Albanian

in albania we dont have a strict authentic version. a light, a junk, a cheap, an expensive vesion of the same dish can all be traditional and accepted. i always take my visitors to a ''worker's restaurant'' which would be the best value, those establishment mostly serve nearby workers they focus on volume, but that doesnt mean its low quality, in order to keep prices low they skip meat (just broth) and add less olive oil, they add more filler like rice or bread. The mentality is local food for local people, its the less tasty more bare bones albanian food, its not quite fast food because they will not use lesser quality ingredients they rather screw you on portions, and its not quite cafeteria food because the execution is usually perfect, its a pretty serious kitchen they only hire +3 years of cooking experience but you won't find any super chefs in there, the staff is usually in their late 20s or part time housewives is their 50s. The menu is usually 2 salads, 5 mains, 1 dessert and that's it. They drill the same dishes every day to perfection. They usually have multiple fridges full of drinks and you take them by yourself, they rarely give you a glass, the drinks are expensive though, so everyone goes for the water bottle which they are usually out, thats how they get you.

I didn't like the thing that you always compare things with Turkey. And yes, we didn't wait ottoman empire to learn us how to eat. In fact many "Turkish" dishes are arabic and were existed here before the Turks And finally Albania isn't a Muslim country, is a little bit of everything

90 percent of Albanians eat pork, and do not want to know about religion at all. And for restaurants we have thousands who do traditional cooking. Let me give you an example:m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3fYop6NjtppqpI
