I'm looking at getting these for my RV. On those 7" extensions do you have to rebalance the tires after adding that rim clamp?

No did not affect tires

Awesome setup, did you have any problems with the flexible braided extensions leaking any air?

They did leak so I stopped using them

So you just screw those on to the existing stem valve and tighten with wrench? Do you have metal valve stems in your tires? Do you have a preference on metal or rubber stems and why?

I actually took them off after a while. Got tired of having to retighten them after getting tires rotated. If you don't have a pressure monitoring system you may find out the hard way they can leak. Tighten them to tight and you could break the stem coming out of the tire. Not enough and they will leak

does the bottom have a free moving nut? or do you have to turn the entire extension just to attach to the valve?

Yes it ise free moving

What does the nut do? It doesn’t really do anything. I just bought some of these.

You tighten the nut onto the rim. Otherwise your part will just be banging around while driving and could come loose

Won't that throw off your balance?

How are they holding up? Do you need to put some Lock Tight so they don’t get loose? Thanks

Yes locktight is a good idea as mine leaked when tire guys didnt put it on tight enough. Otherwise they work grest and essy for fillup and testing

@@dieselmxtt Question for anyone, sorry if this is a dumb question...but do I need to remove the outer wheel to install these valve extensions? Thanks.

@@frankdumlao32 yes it is better to ensure they are tight. Depending on your rims you may beable to get a tool or your hands through to reach the stem. If not you would need to take wheel off
