That was great. Everything I needed to learn so that I can safely use my new used Corghi machine, and presented well. The only thing that I would do differently is a better microphone setup, or maybe even voice-over.

14:16 to mount one tire? At "USMega-TireChain" we could have four on and out the door in that time. Yeah, the results were crap and I don't work there anymore. When using a side bead breaker I bust the back bead first theorizing that the still-in-place front sidewall helps protect the front of the wheel from being scratched on the often gnarly rubber pad on the side of the machine. I also kept a carpet scrap to use over the pad when I was really nervous. My shop machine is a Hunter 3500 with a roller breaker, but my home machine is the side shovel style. Inside clamping leaves marks in the wheel. Outside clamping does not, and helps keep the wheel from pulling off the machine when working with short sidewall tires. Just remember to undo the clamp before inflating and the bead seats. When working with alloys, Kentool #31810 does a great job of setting the mount-head to wheel gap, and keeps the tire iron off of the face of the wheels. I keep a spray bottle of dish soap water mix by the machine to lube the tire bead before dismounting the tire. It helps the tire form getting torn (some dismounted tires are reused.), and eases the strain on the machine. I then dry the wheel before mounting the next tire. See below... Too much soap = liquid in the tire which negates your nice dry air or extra cost nitrogen. I have no idea if water type liquids harm TPMS sensors. Why deflate to zero before putting the core back in? Why not inflate to just over intended pressure before putting the valve back in? 32psi in a little P metric tire on a full sized truck? Good video. I started to comment on the stuff hanging out of your pocket and was completely busted when you took it out. Jeff Forss "The Alignment Guy" LLC

I can can mount a tire in far less than 14 minutes, but I'm describing the operation of the machine for students.

+Bryan Monaco I was being silly about the time involved. The rest of the comments were sincere suggestions. I have since gone on to watch a few of your videos. You do good work. From the settings of the vids: Do you work at a tech school? Jeff
