Wow! I love this video. I will use it for future reference. I've never plug a car tire leak by myself, but you've just boosted my confidence level way up. Thx! Have a blessed weekend. 👍🙏🎣JU Hammah⚒

You can do it, JU! Put the hammah down on that tire the next time you have an issue!

I've been carrying one of those kits for the last 20 years. It came in handy many times. I highly recommend it. The air pump is a must too. A repaired tire is no good without air in it!

We definitely need this kit we have had so many flat tires this year with all our adventures. We found some kind of similar kit but we only have used it for our lawn mower tire. So finding this for our car would be perfect
@fatherandsonsfishing3 жыл бұрын
Definitely a game changer to have the "insurance policy" of having one of these with you in the car!
@Dark30Outdoors3 жыл бұрын
Pretty cool stuff. I didn't know they made kits like that! 👍👍

Thanks Kyle! I didn't either until recently, but I'm definitely happy to know for the future.

Great Video Randy! I’m glad to see you back on again brother!! This is my favorite way to fix any sort of tubeless tire and have been doing it since I was a kid riding 3 and 4 wheelers. Those little 12v pumps have been a life saver over the years too. Can’t tell you how many times I have been in the woods and had to repair a tire. I keep a repair kit and pump of some kind in all of my vehicles and atv’s! Great Video Brother!! 🔥🔥🤯🤯

I learned this stuff a little later in life than you did Lance, but Amen to keeping a repair kit and 12v pump handy in your vehicle. Total game changers!

I mightneed to get one of those kits I pickup nails sometimes when I park in the ditch while trout fishing
@fatherandsonsfishing3 жыл бұрын
Getting one of these kits will be one of the best $10-15 dollars you could spend, Mike. I now carry one of these plus a pump with me all the time.

Hi Randy! My Dad taught me this when I was 16. I've had to plug many tires since then. A plug isn't as good as a repair, but can get you back on the road in a pinch. We'll done!

Thank you Danny! This is good stuff to know for anyone who has a vehicle. I tried to get my kids out there and have them watch, but the interest just wasn't there. I'm sure there will be more opportunities as they get closer to driving age, lol.

There certainly wasn’t much lube in the lubricant! And thank you for the idea, Dave! It’s going to go something like this: “Doctor, the patient’s water broke and she’s going into labor…” Me: it’s 0230, we all need to get some sleep. I’ll be right in with my patch kit and we’ll take care of that hole in the amniotic sac…” Actually, I’m guessing that won’t be too popular with administration…
@RobbieJeadgbe3 жыл бұрын
We have these plugs and kit too. Great that you have the heavy duty all metal ones as the plastic handles can break on those kind. I always dip my plugs into vulcanizing rubber cement as well. That also helps with insertion. Just don’t have your unprotected eyes anywhere near it on insertion as it’s sprays a bit. And use soapy water or spit to confirm no leak when done.
@fatherandsonsfishing3 жыл бұрын
That is definitely good advice, especially the part about not having your eyes (or camera) near the vulcanizing rubber cement!

never knew this was possible, didn’t even imagine a tire could be fixed at home. I like the tips Randy. How long does this repair last?
@fatherandsonsfishing3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Eric! The repair should last indefinitely. I filmed this three months ago and have done city driving, highway driving, beach driving, and had no issues.

I carry a kit in all my vehicles. The best way to find the hole is soapy water in a spray bottle.
@fatherandsonsfishing3 жыл бұрын
These kits will always be in my vehicles from now on. The hole wasn't hard to find in the video, but I used soapy water on a tire on my wife's vehicle recently and it worked like a charm.
