I have a serial number on the box and some kind of an activation code on the other side of the box that may be for the sensor not sure. Can I get this upgraded using a serial number to trace down my activation code? And was your call costly?

I am also having a lot of issues with this device and the problem I see is that there is almost no detailed tutorials in youtube or any other website autel seems to be a far superior option for this task since it looks more intuitive for a home DIY like myself . I will try tech support and see how it goes so far, I kind of regret purchasing this product

So u ended usong discount tire to do the complete work? U juat bought a new sensor, with an xtool bundle, so the Xtool really did t do anything, u could just bought the sensor and have it re-learn from the truck? I spend about 900 dls, trying to reset the tpms, and all the scanner and xtool does is give instructions on how to put my truck into learning mode, which really didnt read any codes, i was very disappointed, i think i am returning all of it... the xtool d7 and the stool tpms tool... 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Discount Tire only broke the bead on the tire to mount the new sensor - thats why they only charged me $5. I did the re-programming with the sensor tool.

One of the drawbacks to this tool is you must use their sensors.

They no longer include any TPMS sensors.
