Nice little channel! Seems like you enjoy doing these comparisons. If you like a satin finish that's fairly durable, give Griot's Satin Tire Coating a shot. I prefer gels over aerosol, but the way it performed had me sold

Thanks for watching. I like Griot's. I'll check it out in the future.

Dressings never have much durability. Tire coatings are definitely the way to go. Acrylic based seem to work well especially lonestar and renew pro Blak , and optimum tire coating. Thanks for the content sir!

I've never used the foaming hot shine tire dressing but the aerosol one that doesn't foam lasts a long time as I stated in one of your other videos. I do know that tire foam like that is really good for cleaning and protecting engine bays.

Man, that's good knowledge you dropped. I've never thought of using it like that. Thanks for watching my videos today! I appreciate it!

@@ClearViewSolutionsMS no problem man! I like to watch and listen to as many people as i can while i develop my own techniques and pick my favorite products to stick with. Ive never tried the engine bay trick but others say it works well. I have yet to even attempt to detail one at that.

@@JP-ro2yi awesome. I will have to try it out and see how it works at some point. I do this part time, so I'm lacking on my videos. I have a glass coating video filmed, I just have to make time to edit and upload.

@@ClearViewSolutionsMS yeah i just do it part time too but i would love to retire from my main job someday and take up detailing full time.

Very well-done video, and I liked your scientific approach. My BIG question is what about protection for the tire. I'm not at all interested in aesthetics, I want a product that will help protect the tire from the effects of sun, heat, and UV light. I live in a neighboring state which also has lots of sunshine and baking heat. What is the best product to PROTECT the tire???

Thank you for watching! Water-based products like the 303, Carpro Perl, or the Blackfire are probably better for the rubber vs the products that have Silicone in them. CarPro also has a product called CQUARTZ black out, but its pricey. I don't believe there are many if any products that offer that type of protection. Blooming is just the aging process of rubber and its hard to slow that. Here's a link to the CarPro Black Out. Hopefully it's on par with what you're looking for. Also, look for discounts on the detailing product websites before order. They do 15% or 20% off regularly. www.detailedimage.com/CarPro-M53/Cquartz-BlackOut-Tyre-and-Rubber-Coating-P2392/50-ml-S1/

I've used a few different tire gels. Meguiars ETG is a little bit of a thicker "gel" than other water based formulas. That said the application still is good and I have had good longevity with it. My only complaint is it is a little bit more glossy so I knock it down with a cloth after several hours or overnight and it makes it kind of inconvenient but if someone prefers more gloss I would actually use it over a cheaper aerosol super high annoying gloss look. The Blackfire Tire gel is interesting to me. I swore off Blackfire as a brand because of the annoying marketing push but I got this tire gel in a sample and just used it undiluted with great results. Going to have to buy a 32oz and test it further. Others I use are PERL and Adams VRT. Perl would be similar to Blackfire in my estimation and both are water based and dilutable and similarly priced. VRT is probably close to those but I use it less because it's sticky? A lot of great tire products out there just comes down to the look you want and amount you want to spend. No tire gels really last longer than 2ish weeks on an outside kept vehicle imo. And while diluting products can leave a nice satin finish it dilutes longevity.

Man, awesome knowledge you just dropped there. Yea the Meg's has been the best performer for me. I didn't last as long in this test versus the last test, though. Thanks for watching!

Great Video! So which one of the four looked the best? and by best I mean, gave the tire a deep, "new tire " look with a natural shine?
@ClearViewSolutionsMS3 жыл бұрын
If you're going for natural, the 303 would be the one. If you want shiny, I'd go Endurance or the Hot shine... or the Blackfore for that matter. Look in my videos, I have a short of each of the dressing one week in. Thanks for watching!!!

At the price of the foam spray that’s what I’d go for.

One word for..... you. " SLING"----- Cover all definitely slings at speeds over 60 MPH and it does not last at all, I have 3 cars and used it on all the tires, shines nice for the first 6 hours then the shine is gone. The best product on the market is "Rust Oleum Wipe new", the shine lasts for over a week..and no sling even at 85 MPH
