I’ve always found that brake cleaner works perfectly to remove those grease-pen marks on the tires 👍

I have not watched the whole video yet. My preferred tire shine though is either chemical guys vrp or adams vrt, both full strength as they don't sling at all. If you wipe them on a little goes a long way. I wish they were just a little shinier though. I see these tires are specifically for the rivians.. hmm..

Throwing away towels??? Not cool … putting aside anything to do with chemicals and the environment … surely there’s a more sustainable way to clean the tires (FFS) … just by keeping or reusing the towels ????

Brakes stop the wheels, tires stop the cars. Shining rubber sidewalls does nothing to improve a vehicle's performance, endurance, or total cost of ownership. Its only dubious benefit is making it easier for a trained eye to see sidewall damage.

I think a clean and semi glossy looking tire looks great on my Jeep Wrangler, especially with the black gloss 20" factory rims.

Why take a shower in the morning? Why give your dog a bath? Why shine your tires? Maybe because you want them shiny and clean? Benefits seem pretty simple, and it looks great.
