As a 2023 Model Y long range previous owner .. and as a QA/QC engineer I can tell that the build quality of all Tesla’s really needs a great deal of attention !!!!!! .. why on earth Tesla do not joint venture with BMW or Mercedes or even Lexus to teach them how to build cars !!! And get the best out of the two worlds .. Tesla’s technology and Brand names finish .. Tesla is a glued together car !! No rivets !! .. panel gaps differences are very apparent .. suspension has a lot of issues .. environmentally friendly !! paint peals off as you drive .. and I had to buy 2000 us$ dollars worth of gadgets to cover up all sensitive areas in and out of the car .. I traded the car in immediately for another car since I heard the news about the new model Y, as I know the price of the old (2023) has gone down significantly - (almost by 50% of MSRP) .. My advice .. do not buy Tesla now and wait until we see if there is any improvement in the build quality .. at the end of the day a car (specially a family hauler) should be VERY durable as you are not going to use 4 sec 0-60 mph feature always .. Good luck yo you all

That Stealth Gray is the worst color ever put on a car. Now this may be one of the best looking Teslas ever. How well does a wrap hold up?

Me.. thinking of how there are entire months where I can't go even a single day without the car ending up caked in winter grime because the roads are a perpetual mess.

I live in NYC and have a full wrap of PPF on my truck. This city is brutal to cars - people leaning on them, using them as tables, squeezing between them with an abrasive backpack on, tree branches scraping doors, tight double parking with door dings, and spontaneous vandalism (had my last car lightly keyed across three panels). PPF has saved me more than once - as recently as last week when a 5-10lbs tree branch fell on my hood thankfully with no dents but left marks on the film. Given the price of my truck, this few thousand was easily worth the investment and gives me so much peace of mind with everyday street parking here. If your car is in a garage in the suburbs every night, then sure save the money. But there are definitely cases where PPF makes total sense provided you can afford it.

I think the black wheels will look much better with the black badging and that color. silver wheels are not going to bring out that color like black wheels. Now since you have a white interior white wheels would look pretty cool on it. Maybe do the badging white with white wheels that would be really cool because your interior is white. I still like the satin black badging and the black wheels,,, final answer.😂

Did he just say PNS makes quality products? I believe he blasted brake buster in his previous wheel cleaning video as being a poor performer compared to the competition.

I should add that I test drove the EV6 GT-Line, and considered it. It is a very nice car, but its steering is super light, even in Sport mode. For me personally, how tight the steering feels is probably the single most important factor of driving enjoyment. This is an area in which Tesla shines, and the Mach-E is a close 2nd. But the EV6 is horrible in except in the EV6 GT, which unfortunately has a range of 207 miles. Ironically, while the EV6’ EGMP platform mates are each different, the Ioniq 5’s steering is even worse than the EV6 (non GT) unless it in the Ioniq 5N. The EV9’s steering feels much nicer than the EV6 (our other car is an EV9). The Genesis GV60 Advanced and Performance both have superb steering. I wish Kia would put that steering feel in the EV6. I’d be driving that GT-Line now if that were the case.

Good video, but a lot of your views are your opinion, rather than fact. For example, the screen on mine (‘24 GT PE) is as responsive as the screen was on my ‘24 Model 3 was. I love the implementation of this screen. I love CarPlay, and really missed that with the Tesla, although it does take up too much of the screen. The interior is so much nicer than the Tesl. I’ve also owned a Model Y. This is far more comfortable to drive, especially over bumps. Rear seat is fine for my family. None of us are 6 ft.

The button turn signals suck. After nearly four years with my Plaid I still hit the wrong button at least a third of the time. Buttons are not, as a notion, bad, but having both buttons on one side is idiotic. Ferrari does it right.

With BMW's going back a long way, surfaces that are not commonly touched are generally hard wearing, which i don't mind, the bottom inside of doors tend to get hit with shoes/feet.

The stalk is very logical, in Europe we have lots of roundabouts.. the buttons on the steering wheel just don't cut it, its difficult to give a signal while on a roundabout. A stalk is a must-have.

Thank you for making this video. I think I’m having this exact same issue with a car I got coated a month ago. I was gonna call the place to complain, but now I will hold off on that… At least until I wash the car and see if it gets any better.
