That's one nice looking Bead Breaker! Check out one of our new accessories called the Wedgie. The Wedgie is a bead wedge that you use in place of that bar with a hammer. Give us a call for a sample!

You should try driving two flat bars in to get a bite with the breaker between them.

@raysolorzano34146 жыл бұрын
With that bead breaker why not put a block in between the rim and the front part of breaker? The block will give the breaker more leverage.

lol I hate changing semi tires every day, I could only imagine how much this must've sucked
@mikekey6865 жыл бұрын
Actually kid you always start at the outside...once the outside is broke down and has been removed from the rim the back side will pop off extremely easy. I love watching newbies haha!
@analog56x5 жыл бұрын
From over 6 years ago. This was my first ag tire. Slayed many since. Sometimes the back bead doesnt just pop off though. Especially if the tire is calcium filled, and the tube punctured. Brand new, or in excellent condition (like this one was), absolutely, the back bead generally pops right off haha

Bloody hell, what a pain in the arse!! I bet you were tyred at the end, wa wa wa, lol, sorry baaaad baaad joke :-( That bead breaker looks like a gem :-)

if you lay the tire down and then pry the rim into the tire its way easier and less time consuming.

That's work I have done those before I do them by myself even the big ones I usually lay the ones like the first ones tire on the ground then start the rim in
@analog56x5 жыл бұрын
Yea, I was being trained on ag in this video. I usually left the rim on, and used gravity to help get the tire on. I miss doing this stuff, but now I'm working at another tire shop doing OTR. I love it cause I get to use a crane truck haha

@latvariansavage91345 жыл бұрын
@@analog56x just started doing 3 piece and 5 piece with my mini boom f550 came from doing semi's to now otr it is so much easier imo
@analog56x5 жыл бұрын
@@latvariansavage9134 i agree! Everything is bigger, so you use the crane. We have a 5500 and a freightliner for our otr jobs. Our freightliner's crane is rated for about 5 tons, and the 5500's i believe is rated for about 2 tons. The heaviest thing you lift by hand is the beadseat band haha! The wagners that we service use 24.00R35's. They are by far my favorite tire to do.

They needed to flip that tire over when they had the bar on the back side of the tire and worked the rim out .then they needed to put the rim on the tire dry no soap and worked the rim in the tire.

Next time lay the tire on the ground and work the rim into the tire. You'll be pleased at how much easier it is to mount. Can't believe two guys are doing one tire.
@analog56x5 жыл бұрын
we left the tire on the machine so we didnt have to fight trying to get it back on. actually, i still prefer to do AG tires on the machine, when possible. and as for the 2 guys on 1 tire, i was learning how to do AG tires. didnt know if that was implied with my cluelessness or not haha :P ive been doing tires for years now. ive moved on from AG to OTR though. im also working for another tire shop, and we have a couple crane trucks, so everything is easier.
