Tire Swap and Hub Repainting - Genie Rebuild Pt. 9

They might not look it, but these things were HEAVY!
In this video we swap the burnt out melted tires for brand new, rubber-filled tires. We also sand and repaint the hubs which had some scorch marks from the fire.

send the old tires to ritchie brothers to auction :) . Some sucker will buy them. What are you going to do about the engine? Probably best to buy a new or used one somewhere rather than rebuilding the old one. Crazy amount of money you've spent on this thing. You could have bought an older functional one for probably less than what you've spent on this, not even counting your time.

I did end up buying a new engine. I think I cover that in the parts sourcing video. Ya, you are right. I could have. This was a nice learning experience and was supposed to be a covid time project, but I was brought back to work sooner then I thought.
