Nice ride! When it came time to replace the stock tires on my Grizzly I went with the Heb Allscapes on Amazon. I ran them for 12 months & 2k miles & got my 1st flat. So I thought I would try the Vee Huntsman & although they were smoother & less choppy they were squirrely on gravel. I'm going to keep running them since I like the look & comfort but for gravel the Heb Allscapes were the best so far. Nice video!

I considered the Huntsman, but there were a lot of complaints; I'm guessing many were from mounting them dry and seating them out of round, but it's possible they make some out of round tires ?. The Allscapes are the same tread as the Black Cat, though I don't know who makes either (maybe both from the same factory ?? HEB, a.k.a. Happy EBikes, is an ebike company re-selling tires). YunSCM also sells a tire in that tread design (on Amazon). My new ones are my favorite tread design; they track well on pavement, corner well, have enough tread for soft surfaces, and are the best I've used on gravel. (I tried a lot of tires on my Kepler since I ride a lot of different surfaces). And that about covers the multi-function tires in this size that I've found, though there are decent ones for pavement use.

I don't know what you've heard; I saw some minor complaints by reviewers before I got mine, but some reviewers aren't very careful with machines they are sent and don't keep them long enough to figure them out, so I'm very careful about what they say. I like mine, think it rides really well, and is well built, but with a few minor weaknesses, which I find in every machine so I don't mind fixing them. Be sure to see my other videos, Review from 9-17-24, Clunk noise 10-4-24, Hill test on 10-25-24 and you'll learn a lot from the other riding videos on how I use the dual motor/single motor, and other features. Very cold here these days, so I haven't been out riding for a while.

The problem with stock tires, they are Chinese copy of good brand tires... Same footprint but not good quality

I didn't have any problem with the quality of the stock tires, but the first thing I did was re-seat them with soapy water to help them settle into place since all of these heavier tires seem to need careful mounting. I have no idea if they ship the same tires on all of their bikes, I can only comment on mine. I just tried to find a tread with more directional stability at different pressures, with, hopefully, less rolling resistance and noise, yet still have enough blocky edges for soft, slippery surfaces. I ride all sorts of surfaces, including asphalt (fine, medium, and coarse), rough gravel, crumbling asphalt, and forest trails with dirt, leaves and grass. For rough rides I've been lowering the tire pressure, to, like, 17/19 psi, and that seems to be what unsettled these tires on asphalt at higher speeds, due to the tread design, not the quality. I have no idea what "good brand tires" you are referring to, as the three tires I've seen with this tread all look like they are made in China, maybe in the same factory with different names on them for all I know. I see that YunSCM sells this tread pattern (and many other tires of different sizes), and that is the brand of my new tires, which seem very nice. Who makes the tires for Happy EBikes (HEB)? I have no idea and they aren't telling. Who makes Black Cat? No idea. Who was first? No idea. Certainly not HEB.
