IR never suppressed anybody, yet LR sung only a few songs with IR , perhaps she might have underestimated the musical domain and discipline of IR.

@@gorillagiri7327 It's not the fact actually. Recently singer Minmini revealed in an interview given to a Malayalam channel that IR told her directly during a recording that he didn't like her singing with other music directors (meaning ARR). And he (IR) never called her again. Ilayaraja is an excellent composer no doubt (i myself am his ardent fan) but he does these things out of sheer pride. So many incidents have happened to prove this.

@@subikshas9833 minmini ????. nowadays it became a fashion to criticize IR for publicity...even Jency sung songs for other music directors and no conflict seems arose between IR and Jency for such works..even legends like Viji , Arunmozhi and others worked with other MDs and infact IR encouraged them for such works.In the case in hand , actually IR wanted to offer the machanai paarthengala song LR E ,but she denied it ,some people said she said some words that hurt IR....so ,it would not appropriate to allege IR in each and every matter as if others are innocents.. 👍
