Hi sir... I tried this recipe with ur tips and advices.. It was really amazing😍👍... And i would like to give some tips for those who wanna try this recipe.. While making caramel don't let it boil.. Turn the stove off, as soon as it melts and turns into liquid form. And ask someone to stir the halwa while u r making caramel.. After separating water from milk... Add atleast 3 glasses of clean water to avoid the raw /sour smell of wheat and stir continuously.. Thank you.. I think it might help someone..bcoz i was searching for this answer in the comment section before making this recipe

பாகு சூடாக இருக்கும் போது பாத்து safe ஆ பண்ணுங்க சொல்றது சூப்பர் sir. இப்படி சின்ன சின்ன டிப்ஸ் சொல்றது தான் எங்க செஃப் தீனா sir 🤩🤩🤩💞💕

Its been more than 20 years since i left Tirunelveli Engg. College. I still feel the sweet taste of halwa in my mouth. Thank you, now i can feel the sweetness of Tirunelveli halwa again.

Two to three times I watched the vedio ....At first i think who will do this much of hard work to make this sweet that too in house.....after watching that much times i decided to try onces.....I know it will not be perfect and not maches the exact original halwa taste......but when I did this...Really thank you sir for sharing ❤️ this recipe.....it's perfect and taste is amazing

Sir, I have tried your halwa recipe first time today, it came out really well. My husband and kids liked it very much and told me that halwa melted right away in their mouth. I am from Mumbai and I used to eat this iruttu kada halwa whenever i go to my Granny's house in Tiruchendur and i just love it, but i have never gotten this taste anywhere else, even in Tirunelveli....I have tried this Halwa in several places but i become so sad because it never tasted the same as in Tiruchendur....I will try ur recipe and hope that i will find my taste because i have tried ur milagu pongal recipe and now follow only ur recipe....now i make pongal better than any restaurant... thanks to u...

Anna hai. First time I tried your recipe, Tirunelveli halwa with chapathi dough. Ah!! It was awesome and yummy yummy. Whole family loved it. I made nearly 2.5 kgs of halwa. I started stirring exactly @9.00AM and finishes @12.30pm. Though it took long time for extra measurements, I happily did as it was turning out good. My in-laws are asking me to make this for every Diwali. Thanks to you anna, credit goes to you. I am gonna try all menus soon.

Excellent recipe Mr.Dheena. We did exactly as you instructed and got the best halwa. One point is, there should be someone continuously stirring the Halwa and another person pouring Ghee. That way, excellent Halwa came

Thank u for the detailed explanation..Can you tell me how much SOURED wheat milk should be there when 2 cups of wheat flour is used .. I have tried using 4 times the quality of wheat flour ..but did not keep the wheat milk to sour..

எந்த கப்பில் மாவு அளக்கரீங்களோ அதுவே எல்லாவற்றிர்க்கும் உபயோகபடுத்துங்க சார்... அது 100 gm...Or 200gm எதுவானாலும்...

Mr. Deena, after you squeez the dough(soaked in water), the remaining (thippi you've called) solid is called wheat gluten. In Europe in the US they sell gluten powder to enhance bread raising as well as wheat gluten steaks. Please check vegetarian meatless steaks. By the way, this video is really a good one.

Thanks for the detailed steps. I tried this! Followed steps as you have explained. The colour and consistency were exactly similar to how you explained till the last minute of cooking. The smell was too good; felt like standing in front of Iruttukkadai. After transferring to the leaf, the halwa became hard within a few minutes. It was too hot to touch. In 5 minutes it became un breakable. Please help me understand what I could have missed.

Same thing happened to me in the first trial. Next time I reduced 1. the level of sugar to 3 cup. 2. Reduced Cooking time after adding the sugar. 3. added more ghee( equal potion of flour) And it came well
