Awesome that you shouted out QVO, really a testament that you aren't chasing the dollar. You're really wanting people (average person) to get the most of what they paid for on a budget gun. Respect.

Yeah I make no money off my KZbin channel, nor do I care to. I made the design for my gun, might as well share. And I think QVO tactical is doing cool stuff so its cool if people want to support them too!

3 things: 1. What is the name of the (big) machine you use to make ports? 2. Port your G34... You have almost no glock content. 3. G34 still: OG x port x comp x port and comp comparisons. Thanks... Keep the good work!
@dltz2 ай бұрын
Haha 3 answers: 1. To port pistols I use a manual 3-axis vertical milling machine. Specifically a Jet JMD-15 mill/drill. 2. I actually plan on porting the G34. I have almost no Glock content becuase I don't like Glocks and refuse to buy them. I only have two P80 builds. My dad has a couple Glocks but I don't really shoot them because I don't like to. And I am bored with modifying striker fired pistols. And there are lots of striker fired pistols I like a lot better than Glocks haha. 3. That is the plan with the G34. Muzzle flip and performance comparison no comp, with comp, then ports only, then comp and ports. Don't know when this will happen, I have other projects I want to do first.

@@dltz I'm working on making the left side into a thumb rest. I found some files for it on cults though since asking. Thanks for the response!

@@LackLusterMedia oh gotcha! That's cool. I've seen those little replacement rails with the wing on them for your thumb. Thats a good idea!

I cant the TLR1-HL to clamp on the rail of the Tisas 1911 DS carry. I bought the adapter from QVO and even real snug I can knock the light off the rail with minimal effort. Any ideas or tips?
@dltz8 күн бұрын
Sup dude. My Tisas rail was on the wide side. And I just dealt with this on my MAC9DS too. The rail on the MAC9DS is quite a bit too big. I posted pics on my reddit of where I needed to remove material (Shiny spot). I bet yours is having the same issue. Since the rail is so much wider, the body of the light hits the rail before the clamp can tighten all the way up. Link to the pics: www.reddit.com/user/rrppdd4/comments/1fcdovs/tlr_1hl_mod_for_tisas_rail/ 1. turn your thumb screw all the way in. Take off the snap ring. Pry it off with a little screw driver or something. 2. Turn the thumb screw all the way out and remove little clamp so you can get to the areas that need filed. 3. it may help to remove the little addapter block in the center. 4. file the shiny areas that are shown in the pictures. Keep the angle of them the same but remove material from the face. do a bit. check fitment by screwing the clamp back on and seeing if it tightens up and sits straight on the rail. Remove more material if needed. I cover the shiny area with black sharpie so its not super obvious. Hope this helps!

Do you know if the TRL7X fits the Carry without any adapters?
@dltz21 күн бұрын
Cannot confirm. I have mounted a tlr7a to it and it fine fine without any adapters.

@@dltz with yout experience, which WML would you recommend for the carry model?
@dltz21 күн бұрын
@@DesertTactical I wanted to run either a TLR1 or an X300. That's because I use blackhawk omnivore holsters at the range. If i wanted to carry this thing OWB... still a full sized light. If concealed carry I would use a compact light like a TLR7A.

@@DesertTactical no problem man. I make my best effort to read and reply to all comments. I'm glad the information in my videos is helpful! In about to drop like 2 videos on the mac9. Can I ask if you place on upgrading the pistol yourself, and what is your peformance expectations?
