Wow zero MIM or CAST parts? Im impressed. I was going to buy a Rock Island Armory 1911 to save a few bucks but for $750 I'd rather just get a TISAS carry with a light rail and optic cut and zero MIM parts!!! Thanks for the video.

You are welcome. I have shot plenty of RIA and from what I can tell the Tisas is a better pistol.

Only MIM part on the newer Tisas is the spring plug. They're built well. They also offer a build kit. I built my first 1911 off their platform and replaced some of the parts with Wilson Combat and Night Hawk Custom internals as upgrades....shoots like a champ.

Just picked up the Night Stalker. My third Tisas. They are just killin it in 1911’s. For the price, best deal around.

I think that Tisas and Canik are two of the best out the box triggers for striker fired pistols in any price tier, that said I am hopeful that the 1911 DS line is equally as impressive as it is the next up purchase. I usually put aftermarket triggers in almost every pistol I purchase as the stock ones leave much to be desired. The Tisas PX-9 Gen3 has a phenomenal trigger to say the least and is only rivaled by the Canik Mete and PDP for out of box excellence IMO. Thank you Tisas for making excellence affordable.

I got a Tisas 1911 Night Stalker - SATISFIED. Gun punches well above it’s price. I compared it literal feature for feature with $1500 and $2000 guns and I definitely feel like Tisas will take over the 1911 market for people who don’t want to pay an arm and leg and testicle.

I was very surprised how well the pistols were built. I will be honest, I did not have high expectations but I was wrong.

Many positive reviews, a few bad ones, and some by people who can tinker and solve minor problems, and I specifically came to your channel to see if you had any reviews on them. UPDATE....SAFETY RECALL NOTICE REGARDING TISAS 1911 PISTOLS Tisas USA has recently learned of a potential safety issue with certain Tisas USA 1911 pistols. Tisas USA is voluntarily initiating a recall of these pistols to protect the safety of its customers due to the possibility of the hammer following the slide forward when chambering a round. While the chance of this occurring is extremely remote, and we are not aware of any injuries that have occurred because of this condition, Tisas USA is immediately implementing this recall of Tisas USA 1911 pistols.

My Raider is back in Tennessee for a second time. First time for bad milling from factory on feed ramp. Now for safety recall. I hope they get it fixed this time. I guess I got a lemon? Dog gone thing just does not feed correctly. Too bad, it’s a cool looking forearm and shoots well when I actually get it to chamber a round.

It’s a QC thing. I have chatted with a few others online about similar issues with their Tisas 1911. It’s a range gun at best IMHO. No way would I trust it as a carry gun. I have carried Colt and Springfield 1911s, Beretta 92FS, and Sig M18s overseas. Never had an issue with any of them. Tried and true weapons.

Tisas makes an excellent WW2 1911. They blew it with the lightweight aviator. They polished and throated the frame ramp weakening it. They also should have done a 70s vintage LW Commander, done right. An early vintage port war target pistol, a 22 service Ace. Just saying .

I had a back and forth with Tisas after SHOT and we were all ready to get the review underway. Jared had two pistols set aside for me to review then nothing. I have emailed him several times and even left a few voicemails, as no one picks up the phone at SDS imports anymore. I have no idea what happened but am very disappointed.

Buy what you can trust your life on. My Tisas 1911 goes bang every time and there have been plenty of videos of comparisons. When a $400 1911 outshoots a $1200 1911 are you gonna buy the $1200 1911 because it's made in USA? Of course not or you're mentally incompetent.
