@MeMadeIt Not with a railed dust cover. They only make one model with a rail on the dust cover, the Night Stalker, and it is a goofy gamer gun with stupid superfluous holes in the slide. I just want a duty ready railed Gov model because if I carry an auto, instead of my .44 Mag, it is because I want my Surefire X300U attached to it. Every single dangerous encounter I have had has been at night and has been solved without violence by simply dumping lumens on the would-be aggressor. The Surefire is on the Glock 20 now. I wanted a 1911 in 10mm, but finding one with the features I want requires dumping $2K into it.

I'm seriously impressed with the quality of Tisas 1911s. I got a B45 Manta Ray (full size 45 acp with bobtail grip) and it's been outstanding.

I had the 9mm version as a range toy, with the same grips. Crazy accurate and the slide operation was so smooth it looked like it was in 144 FPS. Had to sell it though, reloading 9 rounds over and over again got old lol.

Hey! About enjoying 45ACP more? It’s purely a “I feel like a bigger man” thing LOL. I have an affinity for full-size pistols and I guess larger calibers too. I EDC a 9mm since it’s easier for me to control and it’s more practical cost-wise and weight-wise IMO but 45ACP just has that sex appeal 😂

How can I shoot in an outdoor ranger like that?

Hey! It depends where you live. In Texas, a lot of land is privately-owned and because gun culture is big here, there are a lot of ranges where you can shoot. It’s just a matter of Googling and checking them out. Other states like in the PNW are a little harder… you have to find places where it’s legal to shoot on public land out in the woods, mostly, and it’s a bit of trial and error. There are a ton of outdoor ranges where you shoot from benches but I don’t know of any like that’s in my video.

Did you have to do any modification to the light/rail to get it to fit? I've seen several posts about people having to modify TLR-1s and other lights to fit Tisas rails.

I just oicked up a b45r recently and personally my TLR-1 dropped right on with no need for adjustment to the rail on the gun

with that light on your gun, unless it is for muzzle wight, I suggest you check firearms safety rule #2 remove it and hold it with your other hand

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Stop spreading this BS. Weapon mounted lights are a must for positive ID. If your gun is out you’re aiming it and if you don’t feel the need to aim it your gun shouldn’t be out.
