I have 3 Tisas 1911’s. Love them. They all shoot great right out of the box. Plus - Tisas comes with all nice kit boxes and goodies. I have a high end Kimber and I don’t love it.

I am also in Ohio, but a little farther from the deserts than you are. 😉 I got the exact same M1911A1 U.S. ARMY as you got. I love the changes they made to this generation in the name of accuracy of the preproduction. They even did away with the chamfers on the magazine well. Mine has been 100% flawless so far, with about 200 - 300 rounds through it. I really appreciate that it is now parkerized as well. It is a fantastic reproduction. By the way, I got mine on Black Friday last November for $299. At these prices, a person cannot afford to NOT buy one of these guns, if they like the history of the old war horse. I was never in the market for any .45 handgun until I learned about this gun from Tisas a year and a half ago. The fact that mine happened to be the latest incarnation with reproduction accuracy improvements was just luck. I didn't even know the changes had been made, and I see other videos by people who got theirs about the same time I got mine, but theirs doesn't have the updates ours do. I hope everything is going well with the medical issues. I had cardiac issues myself about 12 years ago. The procedure is holding up very well. We are fortunate to be in the area of some of the world's best medical facilities.

Just picked up a m1911 tisas from psa for $381 after shipping, tax, and transfer fee. Looking forward to completing my collection with it. I think it’s a 2022 cerakote model. I appreciate the message. Spend your money on what you want.
