Only TISM could release the best song any Australian ever produced on an uncredited bonus CD slipped into the first 500 copies of the official CD released in the 90s

If you roll a 20 year career of cynicism, unwanted commetry, unbridled ranting, distain for the media's heaving machine of bullshit, and a general 'need to offend' with a heavy dose of brilliance, exceptional creativity, genuinely solid songwriting, humour, relevance and a reverence for the loose.... you get TISM. And this is the quintessential TISM moment for mine...

Just like the guitar hero, it's a real shame these guys faded away. They were probably a bit too far ahead of the times and maybe too "alternative"? for many people but they were also great artists in their own right. Thanks for posting this, now it might survive longer and not fade away into oblivion.

Does anyone have a link to a collection of the poetry that they used to recite in the middle of their gigs?. They were very topical and clever and I think it's a real shame that there doesn't seem to be any record of any of these recitals at all. It's a pity that mobile phone technology was around 10 years too late for their live gigs.

Potentially all residing in the extremely rare TISM Guide To Little Aesthetics, a book collection of their writing.

Intense narrative arc here, first I am hating on poker machines and venue closing down and am with Star in his rant at the start, but he becomes a bit of a close minded whinger/bore. then roady highlights how selfish star is and we are happy roady will get his chance to be the performer. Stars end is harrowing as he "fuk Youse all" and then it appears to be star is having an epiphany, but tragically too late. Does star now recognise the musicality of the 26 road train wheels?. The last refrain" there ain't no contest when a man goes up against a machine" has more and more relevance since song was published in this age of AI content creation... Tism + human drummer🤟🤟🤟

Furthermore, even though these guys are essentially anonymous, very likely made squat financially from the whole thing, and still sprout heavy injuries from years of throwing themselves around in crowds and bashing into props.....I can't think of another band I would rather have been in. Oh TISM, where are thou in our 2013 time of need!
