This is the absolute must watch instructions for this watch, the way you did this is just excellent, holding the watch and phone and how to pair it is just spot on. I have seen so many owners getting having problems and getting frustrated trying to connect this watch, TISSOT should link set-up instructions to your video - well done and very precise. Also explaining all the other functions and options and how to get to them. 10/10 from me.👍😊

I love this watch! This model is so appealing to me, way more than the 43 mm version. But the size is huge! A 41 mm would be just perfect 👌🏽

Thank you for this very good review. But I have a question concerning the Activities. You show how to track a hiking tour. I prefer cycling. How can I switch to cycling?

From my experience, the watch always tracks you in hiking mode, whether you are walking or cycling. In the app, it will show where you've been on the map and provide such data as distance, duration, steps (only counts when you are walking and not cycling), average speed, average pace, calories (again, only when you are walking), altitude change. I was not able to choose another activity other than hiking. I assume this may change in future updates.

@@MorozovAutomotive I got now an answer from Tissot. The T-Touch Connect Solar only provides hiking. Cycling, ... is only supportet with the T-Touch Connect Sport. As both watches use the same App, you can also see the not supported activities when you use the T-Touch Connect Solar.

Is activity tracking done using the phone’s gps or the gps chip built into the watch? I read that the onboard gps is only used for emergency location tracking back to start.

Hi, I have tried using the "Bring Me Back" function and it looks like it relies solely on the phone GPS. Once the phone is off, the watch stops guiding you and indicates that the GPS signal is lost. I have recently updated the firmware version to 7.9.2 but the result is the same. My guess is that the onboard GPS is still not activated by the Tissot.

Can you see your daily step count on the watch as well as in the app?

I think this is more of a hybrid watch. It seems to have limited smart features and relies on Bluetooth for the core functions. Although having just bought this I need to learn how to best use it.

Как включить подсветку безеля на этих часах ?

Для подсветки безеля используется люминесцентный материал, который светится в темноте. Включить можно только подсветку цифрового экрана, нажав и удерживая корону.

Часы можно ввести в спящий режим. Settings -> System -> Energy Savings -> Enter In Sleep Mode. Также, при активации функции Auto Sleep в том же меню, часы автоматически уйдут в спящий режим (выключатся) после двух часов неактивности.

@@MorozovAutomotive это я знаю. Какой-то хард ресет нужен. Температуру показывают +299 градусов, из-за этого заряжаться не дают.

@@Kosmich62 Если не поможет factory reset (settings -> system -> Restore To Factory Settings), возможно, в часах присутствует физическая неисправность.
