Hello, thanks for the idea. Can I use restaurant/kitchen tissue instead?
@theSchwowinsnest6 ай бұрын

does the ink not run when mod podge is being applied?
@theSchwowinsnest11 ай бұрын
I let the paper dry for at least 30 minutes before applying the mos podge. You also have to make sure the brush doesn't have too much mod podge on it and only go over each area one time.

Do we cut the printer paper? It looks like you have a window cut out

No I don't, I think that is just my background.

Man, wish this was posted a month ago. I destroyed a lot of tissue paper before I got it figured out. Now all I need to figure out is why I am getting black smears at the top and bottom of my page. Anyone have any ideas? I have an Epson ecotank 2800. Thank You for this great video to help out those like me that wanted to do this and had no idea how to go about it.

I sometimes get smears at the top and bottom of my page too, and I also have an ecotank printer. I think sometimes when the printer isn't used and the ink sits idle it comes out that way. Maybe run a test page first before you put the tissue paper in?

I would like to see how you did the transfer after you got the image printed out
@shannabauer Жыл бұрын
I don't have a video camera, or would show you. I just use a thin layer of mod podge, do a little section at a time, then use a sponge and cling wrap. If it is a piece that won't melt, I prefer the iron on method.@@SMA550

It's because of the thinness. Change the custom settings on the printer to "prevent paper abrasions". This will put less pressure on the print head. You can also tape the tissue paper about a 1/4 inch up on the printer paper so that any abrasion does not appear on your work. Adjust your image as well on the PC.
