I remember that. Must admit Fred was different in his own way. To me didn't matter who was hosting they always made you feel welcome. They always were true professionals and made a point of welcoming the younger viewers

More than likely. Dickie Davies was the man but Fred Dineage was different in his own way. Whoever was host they always made you feel welcome from start to finish true professionals.

Some of this ie talking to the players and managers in the hotels at Breakfast was normal on World Of Sport but only on FA Cup Final day and on that 1981 League Cup Final the original Wembley game was highlights on BBC
