Titan Attachment Pallet Fork Grapple Review & Demo

In this video I express my initial opinion and final thoughts after use of the Pallet Fork Grapple by Titan Attachments. I put the setup through 3 days of tough use and find that I am overall impressed with the setup despite some design issues and quality problems. TITAN ATTACHMENTS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING in working with me to resolve some of the issues highlighted in this review. Enjoy!

In my limited experience with Titan stuff, it's cheap to buy, but it seems to be made off shore as cheaply as possible which means a lot of reworking it on your own once you get it.

I can’t believe those welds from the factory would ever hold up to the rated loads...scary quality control. Shes looking pretty skookum now though-Nice work ol’ boy!

Very good inspection from you about welding and metal fabrication !!! Like Morten Mortensen was saying, no quality control check !!! I pretty sure that you will be able to bring up the standard on weldings !!! Cheers !!!

This is a video I stumbled across trying to see if theres videos I'd you can put a crapple on the rear and quick hitch and also if you can get remotes for the front. I have a 1978 3550 ford diesel backhoe I want to add these things to it. I'll use my backhoe for more land clearing than digging or moving dirt I plan on using mine more agriculturally. Nice video

Try replacing the pin levers with pull rings. I have seen that function on some forklifts that I drove at work.

That is a big grapple for a big machine! How much the 4500 can lift? Too bad the weldings were not so good, but this could be an easy fix. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comment Joe! The 4500 has a breakaway force of 6000 lbs (2722kg) and lift to full hight of 3750lbs (1701kg) And yes I am working on more than just the welds. I am repairing all the defects and making some upgrades. Should be posting a video for that soon.

The alignment of the welding done, always needs to be checked before attachment of the device. It may not work at all after being attached.

will it open enough to pick up an IBC tote with the largest opening setting? They should offer a bare steel discounted version at a discount. That would save a bunch of time grinding off powder coat to reweld it.

Can the grapple assembly be removed and taken on and off rather easily? Should I need to move a taller, bigger load than can be accommodated by the opening of the grapple?

Obviously Titan do very poor quality control and some of the welds were awful as you mentioned. Looks like a great tool though, if it holds up that is! :-)

Holy cow, those welds. Thankfully, it doesn't lift anything heavy so a weld failure wouldn't be dangerous....oh wait. yyyyyyyyeah, not buying that one.

I've read many similar reviews about Titans quality and workmanship, very poor very crappy 💩😝👎

Send that garbage back man. You have put to much into that nice ol ford tractor to have some piece of shit fork attachment to fuck it up by breaking and ripping something else off it.

I got a replacement with .....cough....better welds. In the past year I've had to reinforce just about the entire frame. They have broken at least 10 times. I should probably do a follow up video.

I should post a follow up video. Over the past year I've had to repair and reinforce just about every aspect of the fork frame. On a positive note the forks themselves are solid!
