4:06:48 The start of this whole convo out of context was wild, I looked up from my work when Elucian said "Mid fighting a nut, she started chasing" and then Austin says "Y-yeah I've been there..." 😭😭 also the "I had no stamina" from Elucian at the end did NOT help the clip at all-

When talking about internet speed it's important to remember the difference between megabytes (MB) and megabits (Mb). It's a subtle difference but an important one. Internet plans are almost always advertised using megabits as their metric, which can be extremely misleading (arguably intentionally) as the overwhelming majority of people are more familiar with megabytes and will just assume "Mb" is "megabytes". 1 byte is 8 bits, which means if you want to know your 'true' upload/download speeds in megabytes you need to take the advertised number and divide it by 8. For example, a 'gigabit' speed plan would give you a download speed of 125 megabytes per second, not 1 gigabyte per second. A 350Mbps download/upload plan would give you ~43MBps download/upload. Your judgement is still correct though. Gigabit internet is way overkill for the majority of use cases. Streaming high quality 1080p video only consumes around 5Mbps, for example. Streaming high quality 4K video consumes around 50Mbps. The only real advantage of a 1000Mbps connection at that point is downloading/uploading files faster. Downloading games at 125MB a second is definitely appealing lol.
